Aloe Vera plants don't survive well in freezing weather or when a freeze warning is in effect.
When it's gonna be cold out and expected to freeze or you have a freeze warning you should cover the Aloe Vera plants with something to protect them from freezing.
If the Aloe Vera Plant is in a pot then bring the Aloe Vera Plant indoors where it's warm to prevent freezing otherwise the freeze can kill them.
Aloe Vera Plants when grown outdoors do better in warm milder climates that don't get much cold weather but if you live in a colder climate it's best to keep the Aloe Vera Plants in pots and bring them indoors when it's cold out.
