Aloe Vera Plants are both indoor and outdoor plants but during the wintertime the Aloe Vera Plants are prone to freezing and dying so while you can plant Aloe Vera Plants outside or have them in pots outside during the spring and summer you should move the Aloe Vera plant back indoors before winter or when it's expected to freeze.
In milder climates that don't get much cold or freezing then the Aloe Vera plants can be kept outside but they make good indoor plants too.
For Aloe Vera Plants to grow properly they need well drained, sandy potting soil and plenty of sunlight.
