Clothing and shoes add around 2 to 2.5 lbs of weight on the scale.

So when weighing yourself with clothes and shoes on take at least 2 lbs of weight off for the clothing and shoes.

When at home I weigh myself completely naked to get the proper amount of weight without having to deduct the weight of the clothing and shoes.

You get a more accurate weight reading of your body when you weigh yourself naked vs when you have clothes and shoes on.
