There's really no average age that a child stops wetting the bed but some kids stop wetting the bed as early as 6 to 8 years old while some other kids may not stop wetting the bed until 10 to 15 years old.

And sometimes people never stop wetting the bed due to weak bladder muscles that never strengthen.

If the kid hasn't stopped wetting the bed by 17 years old then seeing a doctor about it would be a good idea to make sure nothing more serious such as a bladder infection is going on.

But most times wetting the bed in children and teens is just due to weak bladders that are not strengthening like they're supposed to as the person grows.

I wet the bed from age 5 until age 15 and the doctor said I would outgrow it eventually and nothing else was going wrong so I did eventually stop wetting the bed.

Remember it's never the fault of the child for wetting the bed unless they're doing it on purpose but most kids will not voluntarily wet the bed because it's a really embarrassing problem.

Also never tell family members or friends about the child's bed wetting because that is also not good and can embarrass the child.

Keep the bed wetting between the parents and the kid.
