When you buy a condo you're buying part of a building and it's kinda like living in an apartment except that when you buy a condo you're not renting and can do what you want to do with the interior of the condo unlike an apartment where you cannot do anything in the interior unless the landlord approves.
Also with a condo you don't have to take care of any of the exterior problems such as replacing a roof, fixing the structure etc.
You also don't have to do any lawn care, shoveling snow and mowing the lawn etc.
The Condo Association Fees take care of the cost of repairs to the structure and the lawn care.
