Is intermittent fasting good for building muscle?

When trying to build muscle intermittent fasting is not the way to go since when you intermittent fast it causes you to lose much instead of gaining muscle.

When you intermittent fast you eat less calories and eat less often so when doing that it's hard to build up muscle.

Building muscle requires eating enough calories and protein on a daily basis and you don't get enough protein or calories when intermittent fasting.
