Chantix can work to help you stop smoking and is a by prescription only quit smoking medicine that is prescribed by a doctor.

When taking Chantix you should be able to curb your nicotine addiction within 12 weeks of staying on the Chantix.

But some people do experience side effects when taking the Chantix long term such as, vomiting, stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, gas, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, changes in appetite, altered taste buds, Unusual or Vivid dreams, problems breathing or trouble sleeping or other sleep disorders.

If you experience any of these side effects when taking Chantix you should visit your doctor and in the mean time cease taking the Chantix until you talk to your doctor about it.

Usually though Chantix is pretty safe and can really help you curb your cravings for nicotine.
