Yes puppies do tend to drink more water than adult dogs do.
So be sure to provide the puppy or puppies plenty of fresh water so that they can drink the water when they feel thirsty.
If you notice the puppies water bowl getting empty add some more water to keep the bowl full at all times.
Puppies and adult dogs drink about an ounce of water per lb of body weight per day so just keep plenty of water available for your puppy or dog and they'll be fine.
