Can you bring a backpack into the movies?

Yes you're allowed to bring a backpack into the movie theater but as long as you don't bring any outside food or drink into the theater in the backpack.

The theater workers will check through your backpack to make sure you're not bringing any guns, ammo etc or any outside food or drinks into the theater.

But as long as you have no food, drinks or any weapons in the backpack you can bring the backpack into the movie theater.

Before you enter the theater they will go through your backpack and check for any weapons or food and drink and then if you don't have any weapons or food or drink in the backpack they'll let you on through into the theater.
