As of now you can fly with your current drivers license or ID.
But by October 1st 2020 you will need to apply for and have a REAL ID compliant ID or drivers license to get through airport security or enter any government buildings.
So if you plan to enter government buildings or plan to fly then you should apply for and get a REAL ID compliant ID or drivers license.
So you're okay to fly with your current ID or drivers license until October 1st 2020 which is just a little over a year from now.
