Recovery from having a stent put inside you is usually pretty quick and you're usually discharged from the hospital within 12 to 24 hours after the stent is put in place.
Then you usually fully recover after having the stent put in place within a few more days to a week after the stent surgery and in that time you should take it easy and avoid straining yourself until you're fully recovered.
