Yes when you have a wound using Betadine on the wound can help kill bacteria in the wound and prevent further infection and speed up the healing of the wound.

Peroxide and apple cider vinegar is also good for treating and cleaning wounds and preventing infections.

If you have a wound you can apply some petroleum Jelly to the wound after cleaning it with Betadine and the Petroleum Jelly will keep the wound moist and prevent a scab from forming and it will also protect the wound.
