Once you already have a scab formed over the wound there's not much you can do to make it heal any faster.
But applying some petroleum jelly to the scab such as Vaseline can help keep the wound and scab moist which can sometimes help it heal a few days faster.
You should never pick scabs because picking a scab can actually make the scab and wound take longer to heal as the scab is there to cover the wound and prevent any infection of the wound.
A scab will usually heal and fall off on it's own within 6 to 7 days.
When you get a wound you can put some petroleum jelly or Vaseline on the wound to keep it moist and the Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline will prevent a scab from ever forming on the wound and protect the wound from infection.
