But once you get a cold and it progresses too far then there's not much you can do to get over a cold more quickly as there is no cure for the cold viruses.
But you can stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, take some cold medicine and get plenty of Vitamin C and wait it out and in a week or 10 days you should be feeling better.

Taking some over the counter pain medicine can also help with any pain or aches you have with the cold.
