Trypophobia is sometimes confused with being a condition where you have holes in your skin.

But what Trypophobia really is is a Phobia which is a fear of seeing holes or a clusters of holes in various formations either on skin or objects.

The fear of seeing holes also covers "clustered holes in skin, meat, wood, plants, coral, sponges, mold, dried seed pods and honeycombs.

There's no known reason for the cause of Trypophobia but it's likely a mental condition and can set up panic attacks and some people.

Trypophobia is a real phobia that is a fear of holes in your skin.

Although it's not really medically recognized as a mental disorder but the phobia is real.

Trypophobia is not an officially recognized mental disorder as of now.

But the fear of holes in skin and other places is a real thing and Trypophobia is a real phobia even though it's not officially medically recognized.

Sometimes it may go away because I had the Trypophobia as a kid and eventually as I got older it went away without any medical help.

Some people may have the Trypophobia all their life though so it's not always the case that it goes away on it's own or at all.

Basically Trupophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps.

You don't actually get any holes in your skin but it's a mental disorder but not officially medically recognized.

Trypophobia is a real phobia according to my therapist although like I said it's not official in most places and some medical professionals don't exactly know how to treat the phobia.

Trypophobia is a Phobia that makes people uncomfortable when seeing tiny holes in something such as skin, fruit vegetables etc.

In Simple Terms Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes, or bump.

There's no exact known case for Trypophobia however it's believed to be an "unconscious reflex reaction" based on a biological revulsion.

I assume you think it's a skin condition because this is in body/skin category however as far I know there's no skin condition such as this and it's simply a Phobia or fear in people at seeing tiny holes in things and is more of a mental disorder.

Trypophobia is not really a skin disease but instead it's a Phobia that makes people uncomfortable when seeing tiny holes in something such as skin etc.

Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes, or bump.
