If the money laundering that the person is convicted of is low enough in amount to be charged as a misdemeanor then the fine is around $2,000.00 to $5,000.00 and maybe 1 to 2 years in jail.

If the money laundering is enough to charge the person with a felony then they will likely spend 10 to 20 years in prison and be given a fine of $500,000.00

Money laundering is illegal and should never be done because the consequences are not worth it.
