The time it takes for sacroiliac joint pain to go away depends on how severe the joint pain is.

If the sacroiliac joint pain is acute then it usually heals within 3 days to a week but if the sacroiliac joint pain is more severe then it may take up to three months for the sacroiliac joint pain to heal and go away.

If it lasts longer than a few weeks then seeing a doctor about it is a good  idea because they may be able to fix the sacroiliac joint pain sooner or prescribe you some medicine to help with the joint pain.

You must visit a doctor with such pain. They will assess your condition, determine the source of your pain, and develop a treatment plan. I went to this clinic https://physicaltherapistqueensny.com/. There are specialists from God. They helped me cope with pain in my neck. I use an anesthetic cream less and less. My condition improved significantly after completing the physiotherapy treatment program.
