There have been some people who have survived a shot to the head whether by their own doing or by someone else shooting them in the head.
But it's vary rare to survive being shot in the head and if you or someone does get shot in the head the person needs prompt medical attention and if you do survive the shot in the head you could have brain damage as a result.
