Dogs can eat eggs, however too many eggs could cause stomach upset and diarrhea in your dog.

But when the eggs are fed to your dog in moderation, the eggs can be a healthy part of the dog's diet.

Before feeding your dog the eggs, make sure the eggs are fully cooked and served plain.

Eggs are packed with protein, vitamins and healthy fats that are healthy for dogs as well as humans.

Although they should not be fed to your dog regularly and should be used as a treat mainly.

Don't feed the dog any raw or undercooked eggs as raw eggs can contain Salmonella, and even contain a protein called avidin, which blocks the absorption of essential vitamins in the dog such as biotin.

Never add any oil, butter, salt, cheese or seasonings to the eggs, you feed your dog as they can upset your dog's stomach or even be toxic like garlic and onions.

Scrambled eggs as well as hard boiled eggs and poached eggs are all great ways to cook eggs to feed to your dog in moderations.

For small dogs under 10 lbs, a 1/4 of an egg per week is recommended.

For medium dogs that are from 10 lbs to 30 lbs, 1/2 of an egg per week is recommended.

And for large dogs from 30 lbs to 90 lbs, 1 to 2 eggs per week is recommended.

Some dogs can tolerate more eggs, but you should watch out for any stomach upset, digestive issues or diarrhea and if they show any of these signs, you should feed the dog less eggs.
