A warm or hot bath or shower is much better than a cold bath or cold shower after a workout.

Taking A hot shower or hot or warm bath can help to soothe your muscles and stimulate the blood flow to your skin.

When the blood flow increases to your muscles after a hot bath or hot shower, the lactic accumulation disperses out reducing the soreness of the muscles.

So hot water is best to relax your muscles and reduce soreness.

The cold water could make your muscles more tense and sore.
