Yes UPS can sometime deliver to your house as late as 8:00 PM and even later depending on how many packages the UPS driver has to deliver.

I've had A UPS delivery as lat as 10:00 PM but most times the UPS delivers to my address around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

UPS will deliver packages to addresses until they've emptied the truck.

So if your package is out for delivery that day then you can expect it to be delivered sometime that day.

Usually you'll have your package delivered to your door from around 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM but they can deliver the packages at anytime during the day or evening.

UPS will usually deliver to businesses first on their route and then get to the residential addresses after that.
