Unlike humans dogs can safely eat raw meat and some vets put some dogs on a raw meat diet but when feeding the dog raw meat you should heat up some water to boiling and place the raw meat into the boiling water for 2 minutes.
The boiling water will kill off any potential bacteria including Salmonella that occurs in Chicken.
So as long as you boil the raw meat for a couple minutes the dog should not get sick from it but you should still feed your dog regular dog food as well along with the raw meat.
Feeding your dog some raw meat once in awhile is actually a healthy diet for the dog.
