If you have no money to pay for A funeral and the person had no burial insurance or life insurance then you may be able to find a cheaper funeral through some other funeral homes.
Another option is cremation and sometimes you can find cremation services for $100.00 or less if you look online or even in the old phone book.
There's a funeral home listed in my phone book that will do cremations for $100.00 and funerals for $1,000.00 so it's possible.
You could then take out a small loan if possible to pay for the funeral that way if possible.
Another option if you cannot afford any money is to sign some paperwork with the coroner stating you cannot afford the funeral, cremation or any of the burial expenses and the coroner will get the body buried or cremated free of charge.
