What happens when you pick a scab over and over?

Picking a scab over and over makes the wound take longer to heal and exposes the wound to infections.

A scab protects the wound from protection and when the wound is fully healed the scab will naturally fall off on it's own.

You can also apply some petroleum jelly to the wound to help keep the wound moist to promote healing and then you might not even get a scab.
