In my experience Drano Max Gel takes around 15 to 20 minutes to clear most clogs but if the clog is more severe it could take 30 minutes to an hour to allow the Drano Max Gel to work and clear the clog.
If the Drano Max Gel hasn't cleared the clog within an hour then you may have to take the drain apart and/or snake the drain to clear the clog.
