Can katydids bite?

Katydid bugs can and do bite people if they land on people and when a Katydid bites someone they often draw some blood and it is a hard clamping bite.

When a Katydid bites you or someone the best solution is to simply wash the bite thoroughly and then apply a band aid and it should heal within a few days to a week.

You could also apply some hydrogen peroxide to the bite to prevent infections.
