The odds of surviving a stem cell transplant is around 62% to 65% so you do have a pretty good chance of surviving a stem cell transplant.

You have more of a chance of surviving the cancer if you do get a stem cell transplant than you would without the stem cell transplant.

Having a stem cell transplant can increase your chance of surviving for 5 to 10 more years or longer than you would without the stem cell transplant.

In most cases the cancer may be fully cured with a stem cell transplant so you could live even longer and live a normal lifespan.
