If you think the IRS is calling you and you know that you do owe taxes then you should call the IRS at their real phone number 1.800.829.1040 and speak to an IRS agent.

The IRS will first send you a certified letter in the mail before calling you and the IRS will also never demand you make a payment through a gift card as the IRS does not accept Gift Cards for tax payments.

You can pay your IRS taxes through their website and they will never call and say you have an arrest warrant for owing back taxes.

If someone calls you and says they are from the IRS and they have an arrest warrant in your name and to cancel the arrest warrant all you need to do is to go to a store and buy a gift card then they're a scam as the real IRS does not work that way.

Also if the person on the phone that is calling you is from India and has an Indian accent and can't speak english very good then they're not from the IRS and are calling you from an India scam call center.
