What can't you do after a hysteroscopy?

Had one last year, so sharing what my doc told me. For a few days after a hysteroscopy you usually shouldn’t use tampons, have sex, or douche (basically nothing inside) to lower infection risk. I was also told no heavy lifting or intense workouts for a bit, especially if they removed polyps or did a biopsy. Light cramps and spotting are normal, but fever or severe pain = call the doctor. Always follow your specific discharge instructions though.
