6/30 or 6:30 PM is not too early to put a 2 year old to bed.

6:30 PM is sometimes recommended as a bedtime for 2 year old's so that they get the needed 11 hours to 14 hours of sleep they need.

A 6:30 PM bedtime helps to ensure the 2 year old is well rested and prevents the 2 year old from becoming overtired and helps reduce evening tantrums, and also aligns with the 2 year old's natural dips in their circadian rhythm.

A 6:30 Pm bedtime for your 2 year old often aligns with the 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM wake up time.

Another recommended time that a 2 year old should go to bed is between the hours of 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

2 year old's need between 11 hours to 14 hours of sleep, which includes naps.

This bedtime of between 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM helps to maintain the 2 year old's, consistent and healthy sleep schedule that supports the 2 year old's rapid development.

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM is the sweet spot when it comes to a toddlers or 2 year old's optimal bedtime.

A 2 year old requires 11 to 14 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period, which includes a 1 to 3 hour nap in the afternoon.

A 2 year old can often stay awake for 4 hours to 6 hours between their nap and their bedtime.

A consistent 30 to 60 minute routine for a 2 year old or other toddler, including baths, books, pajamas, etc helps the 2 year old and other toddlers wind down for sleep.

If your 2 year old is fighting sleeping or waking up very early, it may be required for you to adjust the 2 year old or other toddlers bedtime slightly earlier or later.

When my kids were 2 years old they would go to bed by 7:00 PM.

As they got older they stayed up until 8:00 PM and then until 10:00 PM.

As long as your 2 year old is getting enough sleep, you're doing okay.

Although 2 year old's need naps, it's best to avoid having the 2 year old take naps after 3.30pm so they will be ready for sleep by 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
