Yes just like propane or natural gas Charcoal does produce and emit carbon monoxide when burning so never use a charcoal or propane grill etc inside the house or in an enclosed area.

Always use the Charcoal Grill outside with plenty of ventilation so you don't get poisoned by Carbon Monoxide.

Charcoal is a good source of fuel to cook with but can be deadly in enclosed spaces when burned.
