Babies can't eat goldfish crackers unless they are at least 1 year old or older.

Goldfish crackers are a choking hazard babies that are under 1 year old and so it's best to wait until your baby is a bit over 1 year old before you introduce goldfish crackers to them.

Babies under 1 year old can choke easily on the goldfish crackers and so it's recommended that you should always wait until after the baby's 1st birthday to introduce any soft, melt in your mouth crackers, including goldfish crackers.

And even then when you do introduce the goldfish crackers and other crackers, the baby should be seated and supervised when feeding the crackers to the baby.

Goldfish crackers are also highly processed and provide no nutritional benefit to toddlers or baby's.

Toddlers and babies need food that is nutrient dense to grow and develop properly.

Instead of crackers, you should offer your baby some whole foods that provide minerals and vitamins.

Once your baby is ready for solid foods you can offer the baby, soft and nutritious foods like vegetables and mashed fruits.

And for babies that are over 6 months of age you can offer the baby some low mercury fish that is good for their nervous system.

And some brands of crackers make organic, whole grain animal shaped crackers for toddlers and babies that are 12 months of age and older.

And always stay with the baby when they are eating, and ensure they are eating safely.
