Jogging, running or just exercising in any way during cold weather can help you burn more calories because in the cold weather it causes you to shiver.

When you shiver and your body temperature is lower in the cold weather your body burns more calories to try and stay warm.

Most people burn an extra 10 calories per day when exercising in the cold vs in the warm weather.
