Amazon does deliver in inclement weather, unless the inclement weather gets bad enough that it makes it impossible or dangerous for the Amazon deliveries to be made in.
As long as the inclement weather is not too severe and the roads are passable and it's safe for the Amazon delivery drivers to deliver packages in, then the Amazon packages will continue to be delivered.
But if the inclement weather gets too severe and or the roads become impassable then the Amazon delivery drivers will not deliver.
Amazon will also deliver during a state of emergency, unless the conditions are too unsafe for the drivers.
While Amazon does continue delivering during states of emergencies, Amazon also prioritizes the safety of their employees, so the operations will be adjusted and if needed, the Amazon deliveries may be canceled if the conditions are unsafe.
Amazon also monitors weather and safety conditions closely and communicates with their drivers through the Amazon Flex app and they may cancel any routes or close delivery stations to ensure the safety of their contractors and employees.
In some cases, Amazon will use it's logistics network to provide critical supplies to communities during disasters.
And Amazon has a dedicated driver support team and uses their logistics network to monitor weather and prepare their teams with action plans before events and during events.
And depending on the situation, Amazon may also adjust operations by canceling routes, changing delivery routes and even closing delivery stations.
Amazon's top priority is the safety of their employees, contractors and partners.
Just like UPS, FedEx and USPS they will deliver in bad conditions unless the conditions are severe enough to cause a danger to their delivery drivers or they cannot get through the area.
