The amount of diapers that I changed on my child before my child was potty trained was around 7,000 to 8,000 diapers.

I didn't keep track so can't say for sure but in the first year I would say that my kids went through at least 3,000 to 3,300 diapers.

Once my babies got above 1 year old I changed around 5 to 6 diapers per day.

And once my kids got to 2 years old I would change sometimes 5 diapers a day and sometimes only 3 to 4 diapers a day depending on how much they peed and often often they peed or pooped.

By age 3 I would change my kids diapers around 3 times a day as they started to pee less often and poop less often.

Currently my 2 year old son I change his diapers every 3 to 4 hours a day depending on how often he pees and how often he poops.

During summertime he pees less often as he's sweating more and during the cooler months he pees more often due to not sweating as much.

On average though you can plan on changing at least 7,100 diapers to 8,000 diapers before your child is potty trained.

Newborn babies go through around 10 to 12 diapers a day and as they get older the number of diapers they use a day gets less and drops on average to 5 to 6 diapers a day after 6 months of age.

As your baby gets older the amount and frequency of diaper changes also decreases, but the total number of diapers used accumulates over several years until the child is fully potty trained.
