Progressive insurance will only take into account any tickets for moving violations that happened within 3 to 5 years depending on the state you're living in.

Three years is the most common time frame that the tickets for moving violations and points on your driving record will affect your progressive auto insurance premiums.

Once the points and tickets have been removed from your driving record which should be 3 years but can be 5 years depending on the state you're in then the tickets will no longer affect your insurance premiums through progressive or other auto insurance companies.
