Cloth diapering your baby or toddler is better in some ways such as being able to reuse the diapers on multiple kids and the cloth diapers don't contain chemicals like disposable diapers do.

But I personally find that cloth diapers at least in my opinion are worse than disposable diapers because cloth diapers don't hold the wetness away from the child's skin which makes them feel wet and icky and leads to more diaper rashes.

With disposable diapers when the child pees in the diaper it soaks up and absorbs the pee and holds it away from the child's skin.

With modern disposable diapers a child will not feel wet even when there diapers is full unless they wear the diaper so long that they leak out of it which they shouldn't.

Also with cloth diapers you do save money but you have to factor in the time it takes to clean the diapers and then wash them, then add in the cost of the washing machine running, the water and the detergent to wash the cloth diapers and you've really not saved anything.
