Microwave ovens can leak radiation out especially if the microwave door is not sealing properly but the radiation leaked by a microwave is so small that it's not really harmful to anyone's health.
So there's really no need to worry however it's best to make sure the door on the microwave is sealing properly to prevent any radiation from leaking.
