When your engine is bogging down at full throttle it's often a sign of a lean air/fuel mixture or even issues with fuel delivery to the engine.

An engine can bog down at full throttle or any other time can be a result of fuel pump problems, clogged fuel filters, dirty fuel injectors or dirty carburetors.

Even bad spark plugs could result in an engine bogging down at full throttle.

Restricted fuel flow is the most likely culprit and cause of an engine bogging down at full throttle.

The more open the throttle is on an engine, the more fuel is needed and if it does not get enough fuel then the engine can bog down and lose power.

A bad fuel filter, clogged fuel line, bad fuel pump and even dirty or clogged injectors and even bad fuel injectors.

If the engine has a carburetor then the main jet can be clogged in the carburetor or the carburetor is going bad or is dirty and needs cleaned.

Bad intake gaskets can also cause an engine to bog down at full throttle.

Maybe your fuel isn’t getting enough or the air filter is clogged. Sometimes it’s a spark plug issue or even the timing being off. It’s a good idea to check those basics first.
