If the head gasket is only leaking a little bit allowing coolant past it then the head gasket sealers will work to seal the head gasket.
However if the head gasket is severely leaking or bad then the only real fix is to replace the head gasket which is around $1,000.00 if you have a shop do the job but cheaper if you can do it yourself.
