The man who fell out of space was Vladimir Komarov.
Vladimir Komarov died during the reentry of his Soyuz 1 spacecraft after failure of a parachute.
The main parachute had failed to deploy during his reentry and the reserve parachute then became tangled, and caused the spacecraft to crash into the earth at high speed.
Due to the high speed impact it result in Vladimir Komarovs death and made him the first human to die during a spaceflight mission.
Vladimir Komarov was on a mission aboard the Soyuz 1 spacecraft.
And the primary parachute failed to deploy as it should during reentry, and the reserve parachute then became entangled and prevented it from properly slowing the spacecraft down.
The Soyuz 1 capsule then crashed in to the Earth at a high velocity, which killed Komarov.
The incident marked the first death of a human during a spaceflight mission and the crash also resulted in multiple blunt force injuries and death.
Vladimir Komarov was also posthumously named a Hero of the Soviet Union and also was awarded the Order of lenin.
