Can you die from the chickenpox?

Chickenpox can indeed be deadly if you have other complications such as Pneumonia or some other conditions and the risk of death from Chickenpox is much higher in adults than in Children.

Most cases of Chickenpox however are rarely fatal and usually nothing to worry about.

I had Chickenpox when I was five and while it was uncomfortable I had no other complications from the Chickenpox.

I also had Chickenpox when I was 7 and I made it through alright without any other health problems or dying.

But yes you can die in rare cases of Chickenpox so it's still a good idea to get a Vaccination against the Chickenpox just to be safe especially if you're an adult.
