It's been awhile since I lived in Wichita Kansas but yes it does snow in Wichita Kansas during the winter and they can get as much as 2 feet to 3 feet of snow at times.
Wichita Kansas does keep the roads pretty clear though but it's still best to stay home if you don't have to go out in it.
I moved to a warmer climate though after College and now I don't get much snow and I'm happier because of it.
