Yes colds are very contagious to other people and you can spread a cold through coughing, sneezing, kissing and just being around someone who has a cold.

When you have a cold you should always cover your mouth when you cough and cover your nose when you sneeze to prevent the spread of cold virus.

Wash your hands often as well using warm water and antibacterial soap.

Stay home from school or work until you're no longer contagious with the cold to prevent spreading the cold virus to other people.

The cold virus is very, very contagious to others so if possible avoid those people and always stay home from work and school.

I hate when I'm at the office and a coworker is sitting next to me with a cold virus and then I catch the cold myself and miss out on work days and the money.

Always call in sick from work or school when you have the cold or flu virus because other people can catch the cold and flu virus easily from you.

Also when you have a cold or flu you're not really feeling energized anyway so you won't be able to get much work done or think clearly.
