VTech is a Chinese Company as it's based in Hong Kong which is a part of China.

VTech is a headquartered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and is a multinational corporation.

Hong Kong is officially designated as a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

Although VTech has manufacturing facilities in mainland China it's main headquarters and listing are in Hong Kong which makes it more of a Hong Kong based company although Hong Kong is part of China so it can still be a Chinese company.

With headquarters in Hong Kong and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in mainland China, VTech has approximately 26,000 employees in its operations across 13 countries and regions, including about 1,600 R&D professionals in R&D centers in Hong Kong, mainland China, Germany, the US, Canada and Taiwan.

VTech makes a wide variety of toys that are for both play and learning.

I used to have a VTech laptop which helped me learn math when I was a kid.

It was a Smart Start Future VTech laptop from 1996.
