Kirkland brand diapers used to be actually Huggies diapers but with different designs.

Costco used to partner with Kimberly Clark, which is the maker of the Huggies brand diapers.
However Costco switched to using First Quality as their manufacturer for Kirkland brand diapers.
First Quality is also the maker of Cuties diapers.
Costco switched to First Quality from Kimberly Clark in January of 2025.
So any diapers made before January 2025 by Kimberly Clark for Kirkland diapers would be the same as Huggies diapers but any Kirkland brand diapers made on or after January of 2025 will not be the same as Huggies and will be made by First Quality.
Kimberly Clark the maker of Huggies diapers also ended their partnership with Costco to focus on their own premium diaper products.
In January of 2025, Costco started selling Kirkland diapers made by First Quality.
the change is a result of Kimberly Clark's decision to move away from private label contracts so they can focus on their own branded diapers and products.
