ESRD also known as end stage renal disease is a terminal illness because without any dialysis or a kidney transplant the waste cannot be removed form the body and as the waste builds up it leads to toxins which ultimately leads to death.

ESRD or end stage renal disease is when the kidneys have permanently lost their ability to function as they should.

And without dialysis or a kidney transplant, the ESRD or end stage renal disease leads to a buildup of the toxins in your body and leads to death.

The average life expectancy of someone with end stage renal disease or ESRD that don't get dialysis or a kidney transplant is 3 months to 6 months.

And with dialysis the average life expectancy ranges from 5 years to 10 years although some people have lived 15 to 20 years or even 30 years on dialysis.

ESRD or end stage renal disease is a serious and life threatening condition which needs to be addressed and treated promptly.

When your kidneys are failing you will feel weak and tired and usually have trouble concentrating.

When kidneys fail it causes a buildup of toxins and impurities in your blood which leads to the weakness, tiredness and fatigue.

Anemia is also another complication of kidney disease which can also cause trouble sleeping and the weakness and fatigue.

The early warning signs of kidney failure are.

Decreased urine output, although occasionally urine output remains normal.
Fluid retention, causing swelling in your legs, ankles or feet.
Shortness of breath.
Fatigue.
Confusion.
Nausea.
Weakness.
Irregular heartbeat.

Kidney disease can be detected in urine through urine tests as well as blood tests.

Kidney disease means your kidneys are damaged and can't filter blood the way they should.

You are at greater risk for kidney disease if you have diabetes or high blood pressure.

If you experience kidney failure, treatments include kidney transplant or dialysis.

The 3 early warning signs of kidney disease include.

1: Dizziness and Fatigue. One of the first possible signs of weakening kidneys is the experience of overall  weakness in yourself and your overall health.
2: Swelling (Edema)
3:Changes in urination.

Other signs of Kidney Disease include.

You're more tired, have less energy or are having trouble concentrating.
You're having trouble sleeping.
You have dry and itchy skin.
You feel the need to urinate more often.
You see blood in your urine.
Your urine is foamy.
You're experiencing persistent puffiness around your eyes.

Changes in your fingernail color can also be an indicator of kidney disease.

Renal Failure fingernails will usually be more white in color or Jaundice color or normal to reddish brown color.

When people have kidney disease, nitrogen waste products build up in our bodies.
