Why do I have a vomit taste in my mouth after waking up?

I have just started waking up the last few mornings with a Vomit Taste in my mouth and I'm wondering what could be the cause of waking up with my mouth tasting like Vomit?

If you've suddenly started waking up with a Vomit Taste in your mouth then it's likely you have either a bile leak in your body or you're just suddenly starting to suffer from Acid Reflux disease.

Acid Reflux disease is caused by the stomach acids flowing into your esophagus, while bile reflux is caused by the bile fluid from the small intestine flowing into the stomach and esophagus.

It would be best to get checked out by a doctor for either the bile reflux or acid reflux especially if you continue to wake up with a Vomit Taste in your mouth.

I have Acid Reflux disease and I sometimes wake up with Vomit Taste in my mouth as well.

So yes I'd advise seeing your doctor about it and take some Acid Reflux medicine.

I take Prilosec Acid Reflux medicine which helps to reduce the Acid in my stomach and prevents the Vomit Taste in my mouth in the morning.
