Are the tariffs gonna affect the cost of baby items including diapers and wipes?

Are the cost of baby and toddler diapers and baby wipes and other baby items gonna go up with the tariffs in place from Donald Trump?

The tariffs are gonna affect and raise the prices of baby items including diapers and wipes if they come out of China or another country.

However many baby and toddler diapers brands including Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Gentle Steps and even Cuties are some diaper brands that are made in the United States so these diapers don't require importing from China or other countries so they should not go up in price.

Although the materials that are used for making baby and toddler diapers such as the plastic outer sheet, the SAP and would pulp etc are often sourced from and imported from China and other countries.

A lot of baby formula is also made in the United States so those should not be affected.

As for other baby items, they are often from China or other countries and will likely see an increase in prices.

Tariffs are not paid by the other country that is importing the goods into the USA like Trump says and instead the Tariffs are paid by us Americans in the form of price increases.

Baby toys and toddler toys and many other toys are also often made in China so those will eventually see an increase in price as well.

So far I haven't noticed the cost of baby and toddler diapers increasing by much although I have seen some diapers that were made in China being increased in price and even adult diapers made in China that saw an increase in price.

Some online store that sell adult diapers also have added tariffs as an additional charge for the adult diapers.
