Both gasoline powered chainsaws and electric powered chainsaws use the same Bar and Chain oil that is on the store shelves.

So as long as you pickup some bar and chain oil made for chainsaws then you'll be using the correct oil for lubricating the bar and chain on the electric chainsaw.

I personally use Poulan Pro bar and chain oil in my electric and gas powered chainsaws and it works great.

If you don't have bar and chain oil on hand you can use motor oil in the electric or gas powered chainsaw to lubricate the bar and chain but just use SAE 30 weight motor oil to lube the bar and chain  during the summertime and SAE 10 weight during the winter time.
